GoNetwork: Making Ethereum Scalable On Mobile.

The Company is holding a crowdsale between sometime in mid-December. In this article, I will provide a short overview of GoNetwork, It's platform & their upcoming ICO.

What is GoNetwork?

GoNetwork is a scalable mobile infrastructure built for ethereum blockchain. GoNetwork is built to bring blockchain and ethereum to the mobile computing industry.

Mobile computing has surpassed desktop computing by a mile gap. It is estimated that nearly 50% of the world's population own a mobile smart phone. Mobile currently dominates the computing industry since it allows for a more convenient means for people to stay connected. The core purpose of GoNetwork is to create an infrastructure which can help scale Ethereum to massive amount of transactions per second while bringing mobile accessibility to the Crypto space. GoNetwork will launch two innovative products for this purpose.

Enter The GoExchange:

GoExchange is the first GoNetwork product to be launched. It is a decentralized virtual goods commerce platform which will facilitate the seamless trade and purchase of virtual goods across game ecosystems and between users. GoExchange is basically a decentralized marketplace that connects content creators, game and app developers to their targeted audience.

For application developers and content creators, GoExchange is designed to solve virtual asset liquidity, and create increased engagement and
revenue per user for developers. Using GoExchange, Content creators and developers can generate majority of their virtual goods revenue
from selling directly to the users.

Users, however, can trade and purchase their items (aside from the ones offered by developers abd content creators) with community members to augment their in-app experience in a secondary market. The problem with existing virtual marketplace is the fact that the virtual items, once purchased, can not be used elsewhere. This is a problem that GoNetwork aims to solve with it’s GoExchange virtual marketplace.

The virtual items being offered on GoExchange virtual goods marketplace will feature a cross-platform support which will increase liquidity. This is something traditional marketplaces do not have. The GoNetwork team is also researching on better ways to build it’s virtual goods marketplace up to a global scale which also means, mass adoption for blockchain and crypto space.

GoNetwork Pocket:

Pocket is the second product to be launched on the mobile Infrastructure that GoNetwork is building on Ethereum blockchain.

Pocket is basically a Mobile-Centric platform built on GoNetwork that aims to solve a problem with financial literacy by implementing gamification, parental
controls and transparency for youth leveraging the Ethereum blockchain.

With Pocket, parents or guardians can create assignable digital debit cards and claimable rewards for their wards that exhibit good behavior such as
decreased spending month to month and controlled spending across different categories (food,entertainment, etc.).

Pocket was declared one of the best eight submissions at the just concluded ETHWaterLoo — The World's Largest Ethereum Hackathon.

Pocket also features a ton of other use cases. For instance, Pocket can be used by companies to reward money to their employees and encourage them to spend that money into areas like gym, buying books and healthy food. With the smart contract, the possibilities are endless with Pocket.

GoTokens, What are They?

Like other blockchain based platforms, GoNetwork will create and issue it's own platform-wide token called " GoTokens"under the token ticker— GOT.

GoTokens are the native currency of GoNetwork Platform and at such, it facilitates transaction fees across the GoExchange virtual goods marketplace and pocket. It can also be used to make online and offline purchases with the GoNetwork Card.

GoTokens runs on ethereum blockchain and it is complaint with ERC20 token standards. GoTokens can be acquired during the GoNetwork presale and public token sale(more information on this below).

RaidenNetwork vs GoNetwork

One of the most asked question since the emergence of GoNetwork is how it compares to RaidenNetwork — Another crypto project focusing on making Ethereum scalable with high transactions throughput.

Both of these solutions are designed to scale Ethereum but one thing that makes GoNetwork standout is the fact that it doesn't require a mobile node and the Private key stays on phone as it gives the ability to use all the sensor inputs of the phone.

GoNetwork ICO Information:

GoNetwork is hosting an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) where GoNetwork native tokens "GOT" will be offered for sale to early investors. The funds raised during GoNetwork ICO will be used to fund further the research and development of the platform.

A total of 100,000,000 GOT tokens will ever be created of which 50% will be offered for sale to investors.
